Create a custom resolution on Windows 10 - Super User
May 15, 2017 · I would like to create a custom resolution on Windows 10, but I don't find the way to do it; on Windows 7 was simple, because I click on the right button on the desktop and there was "NVIDIA control panel" or something, and from here I could create a new. I've read that Windows 10 doesn't easily allow you to do this, is there a simple way to do it?

Nov 5, 2024 · Sadly, I'm having issues now with getting custom resolutions to work at all. Windows 11 24H2 Radeon RX 7900 XTX on latest drivers IBM C220p No matter what, I can't get any custom resolutions to appear in windows display settings. I can't set custom resolutions on AMD utilities either, so maybe it's not a CRU specific issue.

Dec 13, 2024 · I'm trying to limit my Samsung Odyssey G60SD (2560x1440, 360hz) monitor to 240Hz using Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) to avoid enabling DSC. I've turned off the DSC options in HDMI 2.x support, and added DisplayID 1.3/2.0 Detailed Resolutions set at 240hz, but the the 360hz refresh rate is still available as an option so DSC is on.

Jan 15, 2024 · The highest possible resolution will depend on the GPU. The driver automatically adds certain resolutions by default only if the aspect ratio matches the native resolution. These are listed in gray. If the resolution is not available but you want it to be, add the resolution to enable it. If you don't want the resolution, you can delete it.
