Thanks for the reply. The thought is, the poop is discoloring the water. The birdbath has an electric heater with water. We dump the water every day due to the black color. We figure the bird is reasonably healthy given it flies and returns to the birdbath. It's the curiosity of it all that made me write the original comment.

Dec 26, 2008 · It has a wonderful history. Louise Archer was a black educator who did so much for Black kids in that end of the county. Directly behind Louise Archer is Madison high school. While it still has less than 5% Black kids, those kids are just like every other kid in Vienna and very much a part of the school and the community.
