A’ja Wilson has nearly every award, accolade and accomplishment that can be found in the sport of basketball. What the Nike athlete was missing was a signature sneaker rooted in her personality and game. The Las Vegas star aims to upend that with the launch of the A’One signature shoe from Nike.

Wilson and Nike have been designing and developing the A’One for the last two years, announcing it early in the 2024 WNBA season and later re-signing a six-year extension with Nike this past December. On Tuesday, fans got their first look at the sneaker and some of the apparel collection that will launch alongside it when it releases in May 2025.

The “Pink A’ura” launch colorway reflects Wilson’s confidence and leadership, with pink hues symbolizing her Leo energy. The heel features one of her defining postgame quotes: “Weakness, weakness. We don’t have time for that.” Her signature logo, inspired by the star she draws inside the “A” of her name, represents her status as an “A1” hooper.

But technology aside, the A’One’s are also easy on the eyes. It features a layered look of gradient pinks, a small resemblance to the Air Max 95. She chose pink, of course, because it’s her favorite color, and a few other personable details pay homage to those closest to her.
