The bill (LB135) from Sen. Rick Holdcroft of Bellevue would require school districts to only put bond issues before voters during regularly scheduled statewide elections.

LB 541 would also restrict mail-in voter registration, require grounds for early voting, require hand counting of ballots in elections, and change a number of other provisions related to registration and voting.
