Local fire departments and the Tennessee National Guard are fighting several wildfires in Sevier County, near Gatlinburg, as well as near Tellico Plains in Monroe County and Mountain City.

Monroe County Mayor Mitch Ingram said the fires burned 267 acres altogether, but they are now all under control.
