European Union finance ministers Tuesday approved an update to the bloc’s value-added tax rules that will start a transition to electronic declarations for certain exemptions.
The Council formally adopted today new rules aimed at replacing the current paper certificates used to declare exemptions from the EU’s value added tax (VAT) with a new electronic form.
