MCC will launch another baseball coaching search after Tyler Johnson, who led the Highlanders to back-to-back JUCO World Series trips, accepted an assistant role at Dallas Baptist.

Since being named head coach of the Highlanders in 2022, Johnson amassed an overall record of 131-55 with trips to the NJCAA World Series in 2024 and 2025.
