Greg Tannos was in Tuross Head, a small seaside village on the NSW south coast when he spotted the Lace monitor — more commonly known as a tree goanna — paddling along the secluded lake.
This footage from Stuart McKenzie of Sunshine Coast Snake Catchers 24/7 shows him removing a lace monitor (aka a tree goanna) from a small chicken coop, and almost getting bitten in the process.
