Firefighting efforts continued across in southern Miami-Dade County, where a massive brush fire burned over 3,000 acres this week.

There are 65 wildfires currently burning in the state, burning more than 26,000 acres, according to the Florida Forest Service. The wildfire in south Miami-Dade County is the largest, burning 25,000 acres. As of Thursday night, it was 30% contained. Most of the wildfires are contained, but the Forest Service lists more than a dozen as "active."
