A man killed in an apartment fire in Bay Ridge on Sunday has been identified as Gregory Fernandez, a 37-year-old Navy veteran and father of one.

A Boardman resident is raising concerns about a fire hydrant that has been out of service for weeks, but city officials say an overwhelming number of water main breaks have delayed repairs.
