Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith became the first Alabama alumnus to catch a touchdown pass in the Super Bowl on Sunday, and former Crimson Tide teammate Jalen Hurts was on the other end of the throw. The Philadelphia defense had just stopped Kansas City with a fourth-and-5 incompletion at the Chiefs 46-yard line.

Smith became only the fifth player in history to have won the National Championship, Heisman Trophy, and Super Bowl, per Charlie Potter of On 3 Sports. He followed the footsteps of legends Tony Dorsett, Marcus Allen, Charles Woodson, and Reggie Bush.

Think about all of the incredible players who've come from Alabama during Nick Saban's regime alone. Mark Ingram, Derrick Henry, Julio Jones. There's plenty more where that came from on both sides of the ball.
