Microsoft has announced it is retiring Visual Studio for Mac and that support for the latest version, 17.6, will continue for another year, until August 31, 2024.
According to Microsoft, Visual Studio for Mac 17.6 will continue to be supported for another 12 months, until August 31, 2024.
But I don't know how many Linux devs use .NET / C#. For Windows users: use VS Community / VS Professional -- no need to reimplement its features in VS Code. For Mac: VS for Mac needs some polishing.
