One of Alabama's most legendary head coaches has decided his time has come to hang up the whistle. According to Al.com's Ben Thomas, UMS-Wright Preparatory School's Terry Curtis is set to announce his decision to retire from coaching on Tuesday morning via a press conference.

Terry Curtis is expected to announce at a press conference Tuesday morning that he is retiring as UMS-Wright’s head football coach, sources have told AL.com. The Hall of Famer, who is second in AHSAA history with 361 victories, has been coach at the school for 26 seasons. The press conference is expected to be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the school.

Hall of Fame coach Terry Curtis is set to retire, sources tell WKRG’s Simone Eli. The longtime UMS-Wright coach will officially announce his decision at a press conference Tuesday at 10:00 am. Curtis has led the Bulldog program for 26 years.
