The new Call of Duty Black Ops 6 update adds three new maps, the iconic Gun Game mode, and another zombies map with a fan-favorite wonder weapon.

Console player numbers are unknown, but ongoing hacking issues have led to a drastic decline in Call of Duty players on Steam.

Season 2 of Black Ops 6 is finally here and has brought more changes than ever before to Multiplayer and Zombies.

Xbox players (Xbox One, Series X|S) can play Call of Duty Black Ops 6 for free from Thursday, February 6th (10am Pacific) to Monday, February 10th (10am Pacific). You do not need an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Therefore, it is completely free for anyone this weekend.

With Season 2 now in full swing, Activision confirms the official start date and time for the next Double XP event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

Black Ops 6 Season 2 introduces a bounty hunter theme for the Multiplayer and Zombies modes. Among the added content is three new multiplayer maps in Bounty, Dealership, and Lifeline. Treyarch has also added new modes in Overdrive and Gun Game. A Valentine’s Day-themed mode will arrive in February.

As the Terminator crossover event begins in Black Ops 6, new and returning players will earn double XP across the board as they grind out special rewards.
