Unioto ace and Findlay commit KB Perkins led the Shermans to the Division IV regional championship with a win over London.

The Shermans topped Indian Creek, 2-0, to ensure the program's first trip to the state baseball tournament since 1994.

Unioto defeated London 1-0 in a Division IV regional baseball semifinal. KB Perkins pitched a complete game shutout, striking out 10 batters. Perkins also drove in the winning run with an RBI single.

For Medina (24-6), the loss ends its season and shuts out Northeast Ohio from the final four in Division I. Perrysburg will play Springboro at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 14 back at Thurman Munson Stadium.
