The M.2 SATA differs in design from an NVMe drive in that it has two slots in its connector. NVMe SSD’s have only one slot, and if you’re not familiar with this, you could confuse the two.
The SATA m.2 drives are the same price as the 2.5" drives. I don't think there are 1TB USB drives either. I wouldn't use this product but it does have its use cases.
