The General Staff of Ukraine's Armed Forces confirmed an attack overnight that hit Russia's Ryazan Oil Refinery and the Ryazan Thermal Power Plant, leaving them ablaze Thursday morning.

KYIV — More than 100 Ukrainian drones were aimed at targets in 11 Russian regions, hitting the Ryazan oil refinery and a heating power plant, in one of Ukraine's largest attacks in an overnight strike Friday.

A fire broke out at a refinery and power plant in Ryazan, Russia, following a drone attack. The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the destruction of 49 drones in several regions. Local authorities acknowledged the attack but did not disclose details about the targets.
