Kendrick Lamar, one of hip-hop’s most venerated artists for the past decade, performed “Not Like Us,” a diss track aimed at Drake, to cap the Super Bowl halftime show in New Orleans, the first to be headlined by a solo rapper.

With a few songs from his latest album, Lamar got the crowd feeling alive with “Squabble Up” as the beat rocked through the Superdome. Jackson, in a recurring appearance, continued to play host in an traditional Americana outfit dressed like Uncle Sam.

Kendrick then surprised everyone by ending his epic performance with “Not Like Us” and looked directly at the camera when he got to the line, “Say Drake, I hear you like ’em young.” Kendrick was joined by the producer of the track, Mustard, and tennis star Serena Williams, who Crip-walked during the performance.
