Mike Tyson admitted on Wednesday that the main reason he went through with the live Netflix boxing match against much-younger influencer Jake Paul in November was because he was afraid of getting sued.

Tyson purchased a lavish $13 million waterfront mansion in Florida, complete with a plot on a nearby airstrip, according to Realtor.com. The 58-year-old boxer reportedly earned $20 million for the fight, which was streamed live on Netflix in November. Despite the hefty payday, Tyson ultimately lost the bout to the 27-year-old Paul.

"I was worried about getting sued, you know, because I was like, God, they're going to sue me if I don't do this fight."
