A Katy man accused of killing a man cleaning restaurant equipment near Third Ward last Wednesday had complained about the noise caused by a pressure washer, according to court documents.

Court documents said Omar Marzouk fatally shot 32-year-old Jimmy Arevalo early Wednesday after complaining about pressure washing noise in the MacGregor neighborhood.

Omar Marzouk 38, has been charged with murder in the death of Jimmy Arevalo. The 32-year-old was a contract worker who was power washing kitchen equipment outside a Houston convenience store.
