Tiger Stadium, the home of the LSU Tigers, was completely blanketed in snow. The last time snow fell there was in 2018. LSU’s social media team shared an aerial video as well as a photo from the field level. In the photo, they placed a Tigers helmet on the snow-covered field, giving fans a better idea of how much snow had actually piled up.

The rare winter storm that blew through the Gulf Coast region made its way into South Georgia late on Tuesday night and into Wednesday morning. What folks woke up to was a winter wonderland and many South Georgia high schools saw their football stadiums covered in snow.
