Kaskisuo, a native of Finland, is a product of Jokerit's youth team. After being the third-choice netminder behind future NHLers Joonas Korpisalo and Kevin Lankinen, Kaskisuo moved to North America.

Korpisalo stopped 21 of 26 shots in Thursday's 6-2 loss to the Jets, with Winnipeg's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

Korpisalo will defend the home crease against Winnipeg on Thursday, Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal reports.
