World Cup of Hockey returning with best-on-best competition
The 4 Nations Face-Off is the league’s first best-on-best tournament since the 2016 World Cup. NHL players will return to the Olympics in 2026 for the first time since 2014 after not participating 2018 and 2022. The league also committed to the 2030 Olympic Winter Games.
