A traveler from Egypt kicked a U.S. Customs and Border Protection beagle Freddy after the dog sniffed out over 100 pounds of banned food earlier this week at Dulles Airport.

His name is Salem – a lively beagle born on Oct 20, 2017, and very much a part of Kumudhini’s family. “I grew up in Melaka with my not-so-little family of six,” Kumudhini told FMT Lifestyle.

But one traveler took it out on the animal, officials say. They've accused the man of "violently" kicking the 25-pound beagle named "Freddie." Now he's pleaded guilty, they say.
