The gallery features more than 30 artists from Texas and surrounding states, with a focus on recognizing Texas art.

This led Joyce on a quest to collect works of art by black artists. The African Village-themed stalls in Mitchie's Fine Black Art recalls the spirit of the koindu (outdoor African markets).
