Drake Maye is more than familiar with his new offensive coordinator. When the quarterback came to New England last year, he dove into his new playbook but also watched game film from past Patriots seasons. As it turns out, those film sessions will come in handy this season when Maye is coached by Josh McDaniels for the first time.

Speaking for the first time since the New England Patriots hired head coach Mike Vrabel, quarterback Drake Maye says he's "excited" to work with the experienced coach and to learn from new offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.

Patriots QB Drake Maye gave an honest answer when asked about his recruiting efforts during last week's Pro Bowl Games.

Peyton Manning appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and talked about Maye’s willingness to learn the game. Most notably, he said he noticed the young quarterback in a productive conversation with Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye will hit pause on his offseason. The rookie quarterback was named to the Pro Bowl roster as a replacement on Tuesday. Maye will take part in the Pro Bowl games, which start Thursday, Jan. 30 and run through Sunday, Feb. 2.
