DEKALB COUNTY, Tenn. (WZTV) — Middle Tennessee fire crews rescued a disabled man from inside his burning home Wednesday.

Two wildfires have broken out in Middle Tennessee following the severe winds that swept across the state Tuesday night.

Local fire departments and the Tennessee National Guard are fighting several wildfires in Sevier County, near Gatlinburg, as well as near Tellico Plains in Monroe County and Mountain City.
