Two drunk 17-year-old teenagers have sparked outrage after filming themselves urinating into a hot pot broth at a Haidilao restaurant in Shanghai, China.

A popular Chinese restaurant chain is offering refunds to more than 4,100 diners after two teens were caught on video urinating into a vat of hotpot broth.

One of China's biggest restaurant chains, Haidilao, known for its hotpot, has apologized and offered refunds to thousands of customers that dined in their Shanghai location after two men urinated in their hotpot broth,

Hotpot is served in a large pot containing soup broth along with various meats and veggies. It’s normal for each group of diners to receive their own broth, meaning it should have been switched out after the urination episode, but it’s unclear if the dish was properly sanitized before being used by other patrons.
