I've been looking for a Java IDE for both Windows and Linux. Currently I'm comfortable with Visual J++ 1.1, but since its old ( and unsupported? ) I was wondering what the best ones out there are.

Usually spaces mixed with tabs and using a sensible tab spacing (not 8, not 4, but 2) it looks very wrong.<P>My latest java ide is jcreator and I think it's the best. Cannot use it at school though.
