IOWA CITY, Iowa — After 30 minutes of nearly no separation, the play that provided a mid-second half breakthrough for the University of Wisconsin men's basketball team began with a mistake.

The Badgers have been among the least-penalized teams in the country but there were times in a loss Saturday when they "lost our minds," coach Mike Hastings said.
