Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith had the opportunity to join an exclusive football group in Super Bowl LVII two years ago. Even though the former Alabama All-American had seven receptions for 100 yards, the Eagles lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 38-35 in the NFL championship game for the 2022 season.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeVonta Smith is heading back to his home state of New Orleans to play in his second Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs. That means Smith won't have to spend the extra money on flights or hotel rooms for his family.

Eagles fans are still hurting from their 38-35 defeat in Super Bowl 57, where DeVonta Smith had seven receptions for 100 yards as Philadelphia let a 10-point halftime lead slip away.
