Pokémon Go Gen 2 list: Eggs are the only way to get these new Pokémon. You will not be running into Togepi or Pichu on safari, at least not for the time being.

While Togepi isn’t appearing in the game, you can check out all the legendary Pokémon in the Indigo Disk DLC. You can also get ready for the DLC by knowing all the Elite Four members.

With Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, Togepi could evolve even further into Togekiss. By Pokemon X/Y, the Togepi-line's Normal-typing was dropped for the Fairy-typing instead.

Togepi's first evolution, Togetic, is also officially part of Pokémon Go. All you need are 50 Togepi candies to evolve your baby Pokémon, though it may take some time to actually gather that many.
