The most popular variant of the RB26 engine is the RB26DETT. However, Nissan also made a naturally aspirated version of the engine, the RB26DE, to power the Nissan Skyline 26 Autech sedan.

The crate engine is available right now and the complete controls package will be available starting May 1. The engine and controls package will cost $9,000, while the engine alone is $6,790.00.

Honda As for what’s specifically included, the crate engine consists of the Type R ‘s engine long block, alternator, turbocharger, and starter motor. That costs $6,790.

The RB26, the turbocharged straight-six engine that famously powered the previous three generations of Skyline GT-R, is going back into production, according to Nissan's Japanese Nismo division.
