The mafia-style villains are known as the Gorrini Family and while the movie has yet to break down their Quirks, they appear menacing enough to offer a challenge to the anime crime fighters.

Set in Tokyo, Day of the Beast follows a Western outsider with a grim past as he becomes embroiled in a global turf war between Yakuza (Japanese mafia) and old-school Cold War Russian mobsters.
