Kentucky Fried Chicken is about to leave Kentucky as its owner, Yum! Brands said it would be leaving the state and opening two new brand headquarters in other states.

KFC's corporate staff will relocate from the brand's headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, to Plano, Texas, Yum says.

KFC is moving its U.S. headquarters from Louisville to Plano, Texas. Parent company Yum Brands is also calling remote workers back to the office. Many employers have been rethinking their corporate headquarters, often spurred by lower taxes and changes to office space needs due to the hybrid or remote workforce.
