There are several ways to learn CPR. The American Heart Association offers in-person and online CPR and First Aid training classes. Similarly, the American Red Cross offers CPR certification courses.

As part of Local 4′s Go 4 It community campaign, we’ve partnered with the City of Detroit for a day of free hands-only CPR training, open to anyone who wants to learn.

Anyone interested in the course should be well versed in performing CPR and hold a current BLS Provider or Heartsaver CPR/AED card. Students interested in enrolling in the class can sign up here.
