The Charlotte Hornets aren't interested in moving on from LaMelo Ball. Despite the reports of Ball wanting to be in a winning situation, per Michael Scotto, ESPN's Tim Bontemps sources have declared they have “no interest” in moving on from their franchise player when discussing the Hornets' future.

Given LaMelo Ball is probable on the injury report, the assumption is he will be suiting up against the Cavs. Ball led the Hornets in their 125-110 loss to the Hornets, scoring 28 points, including four threes. He also finished with 10 rebounds and six assists.

The Charlotte Hornets are one of nine teams that ESPN insiders Brian Windhorst and Tim Bontemps believe are tanking right now. Whether intentional or not, they're going to be in the lottery and could have a very high pick in next year's draft.
