UPDATE: Dense fog advisory expected to expire at 11 a.m., says the NWS
"Visibilities continue to slowly improve late this morning, therefore the Dense Fog Advisory will be allowed to expire. Visibilities between 1 and 3 miles may continue into early afternoon," states the NWS Fort Worth TX. The advisory is in effect until 11 a.m.
The NWS has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for parts of Tampa until 10 AM, with visibility down to a quarter mile.
Areas of dense coastal fog will move inland, and fog will develop over the interior counties during overnight hours.
