I've used the cartridges myself, which look like tiny wax cubes, in Xerox Phaser 8560 printers. If you're unfamiliar with solid ink, they're pretty easy to use.

The Xerox Phaser 8400, launched in 2004, also used solid ink. With a $999 price tag, it was considerably more affordable for small offices, but the technology never really took off.

The Xerox Phaser 6700/DN is a workgroup color laser printer with good speed, paper capacity, and features. True Adobe PostScript and a high 2400-by-1200-dpi resolution make for smooth color images.
