(WBKO) - It seems the soaring temperatures and summer storms couldn’t keep the crowds away Thursday, as attendees gathered for the opening day of the 2024 Green River Catfish Festival.

The Baytown Rotary Club will host the annual Shrimp & Catfish Festival Saturday, May 10 from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. inside Baytown Community Center.
