Crews will need the road closure to continue work on the West Winder Bypass project. This construction will realign Ga..211 over Ga. 8 and the railroad in Winder onto the existing Patrick Mill Road.

The road closings are part of a three phased project that will take Ga. 211 around downtown Winder to a bypass ending at Ga. 316. The new bypass will include a bridge over Ga. 8 and the railroad.
