Protesters in Venice claim their threat to blockade the city’s canals has forced a venue change for a party to celebrate the wedding of billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and journalist Lauren Sanchez.

It has now been relocated to Arsenale, a former shipyard complex. The venue change followed a growing protest movement led by the activist group 'No Space for Bezos,' which claimed victory after threatening to block the canals with inflatable crocodiles to prevent access to the original reception site.
