The artwork can be submitted to the students’ art teacher or directly to the VFW Post at 2247 Kelly Ave. All entries must be received at the Post no later than 5 p.m. Monday, March 31.
Haxtun student Erika Meakins entered her painting in the National American Creative Patriotic Art Scholarship Contest, an annual promotion by VFW Auxiliaries country-wide for grades 9-12.
