Atmora is an ancient frozen continent to the North of Tamriel, said to be the origin place of the first humans who would go on to become Nords, Imperials, and Bretons.

The Elder Scrolls 6 could choose to leave Tamriel to have its unique own shot at recreating the magic of earlier games in the franchise.

In Atmora, the lost continent to the north of Tamriel, the team have completed design of the fjord and Staglands regions, and are working on a custom weather system.

Every province in Tamriel is planned. So far, Bruma is the only fully complete area (with Morrowind and Atmora's exteriors well into development).

First arriving from the lands of Atmora, the Nords arrived in Tamriel thanks to the actions of Ysgramor, and have made their home in the frozen, rigid lands of Skyrim for centuries.

Morrowind's ongoing Tamriel Rebuilt mod may add deep lore cuts and add one of the most mysterious and bizarre races of the Elder Scrolls series.
