The Tri-State Area is in for another round of winter weather as a storm hits the region on Saturday. Snowfall could be moderate at times before gradually changing over to sleet, freezing rain and plain rain throughout the evening and overnight.

A winter storm brought another mixed bag of precipitation to New York City and the Tri-State area on Saturday. The storm began as snow across the area in the afternoon. By 8:00 p.m., the rain-snow line moved north of New York City.

Several inches of snow, freezing rain and rain are ahead in Western New York this weekend, part of a storm system predicted to sweep into New York Saturday morning. The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a winter weather advisory for much of western New York for Saturday.
