The slide is the tallest water slide at sea, the company said. It is scheduled to embark on another 7-day trip on Aug. 9, according to Cruise Mapper, a website that tracks cruise lines.

The footage, posted on X Thursday, shows passengers aboard the Icon of the Seas, the world's largest cruise ship, as gallons of water gush from a massive hole in the slide.

In January 2024, the Icon of the Seas became the world's largest cruise ship with a maximum capacity of 7,600 passengers and a crew of 2,350. It is 250,800 gross tons with 20 decks.
