Local chef Joe Thomas of Sconni's Alehouse and Eatery has mastered his recipe for black garlic, and is now taking the product central Wisconsin-wide, selling it in grocery stores throughout the area.

Sconnie is anything of or relating to Wisconsin. Sconnie is an identity. It can be used as a noun ("I am a Sconnie") or an adjective ("Look at that Sconnie truck").
