Members of the public can meet Buddy, a 15-pound bear cub, at Bearizona on Friday, Dec. 22. The cub was rescued from a Tucson residential neighborhood earlier this month.

The bear cub was rescued in a Tucson neighborhood last week. He's named after the Christmas movie, Elf, because wildlife officials say Buddy is quite small for his age, much like an elf.
