While many people rely on a groundhog to let them know when spring will arrive, folks in Boston know warmer days are ahead thanks to Red Sox "Truck Day." It may have snowed overnight in Boston, but Monday is the unofficial start of Spring Training.

The Boston Red Sox have already packed up all of their equipment from Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts and brought it down to JetBlue Park in Fort Myers, Florida for the start of their Spring Training.

The Red Sox equipment truck leaves Fenway Park on Monday, bound for the club's spring training home in Fort Myers, Florida. The team has been in a downturn in recent years, missing the playoffs in five of the last six seasons.

While the moves on the position-player front have been minimal, the Sox have unquestionably amplified a rotation that last season took a step forward under the new pitching regime
