GARDNERVILLE, Nev. — Mary McGee, a female racing pioneer and subject profiled in an Oscar-contending documentary “Motorcycle Mary,” has died, her family said. She was 87.

She started racing cars in the ‘50s and bikes in the ‘60s and kept at it until 2011. Mary McGee changed the face of motorcycling forever. ... She passed away Nov. 27 at 87.
